A phone call that lasted forever.
I had just thought to myself, “Paangatin mo naman ang level ng pagbablog mo,” because it seems that I am using that same old style again and again. Nakakasawa na. But I am trying to make some ways to improve my blogging.
Anyway, I started writing this post after answering a phone call from Jonell. That call lasted for almost an hour and a half (na puro “dead air” ang laman) and it emptied the phone’s battery. Gosh!
Before, thinking of a lengthy phone call (maybe a call that lasts for almost half an hour) would make me react like this: “Grabe, kaadikan naman, kalahating oras ‘tong nakipagtelebabad,” because then, I only make phone calls in case of emergency, or when I have to ask/talk about something sooo important (Syempre, I am spending money for those phone calls).
Recently, we’ve just connected a landline, so I immediately told this to that person. Believing that phone calls within Metro Manila won’t add to the monthly rate, I asked him to call me. It was the first time we talked to each other through a phone line, so that call lasted for more than an hour and a half. Grabe, I can’t believe I could make such phone call.
Yesterday morning, I called my classmate Michelle to tell her about our landline and some important reminders about the incoming church event calle Campus Harvest. I thought that we would talk about some things more but she said goodbye. That call lasted for only 17 minutes (or less). Bitin!
Binuhat-buhat ko pa yung 2-volume diks namin pero di ko rin naman masyadong napakinabangan. I only searched for the words reprimand and scolded.
I am thinking more critiques (the third word) about some teasers I’ve watched.
